Hair Love

First I see Kenley from Project Runway V wear something ridiculous on her head. Then I see a classmate wearing one too. My first thought was, "WTF is on her head?!" It was a piece with multiple tear-drop shaped brown and white feathers, held together by a black elastic band. I asked her where she got it from and she told me UrbanOutfitters. I remember I initially thought the elastic band made it look cheap and was detracting the beauty away from the nasty feathers but didn't care to say anything.

Now, I have this crazy urge to stick random appliques/homade flowers/fans in my hair. Plus I love this economy- I don't want to buy anything that I can make lol.

I will post a picture of my hair creations later! Black and red plaid tears with black tears made my creation quite cute actually!!!

I fear that noone would buy my stuff if I made it; then I realized, my style is very similar to UrbanOutfitters and Anthropoligie and they're flippin overpriced!! $24 for an el-cheapo made hair piece!! RIDIC!

First Post!!

So you know how you have this intense desire in your gut to do something? Be it running, mountain climbing, painting, or rocking out. Lately, I have been yearning to sew.

I registered "angrybunni" under BurdaStyle which is an awesome site about free patterns and introduce you to other sewers in the world. It seems great but a bit more complicated to use- I'm sure I'll figure it out. But for right now, I just want to post these random things I made out of my intense creative energy.

This is my sewing machine!

Thomas bought it for me and I haven't touched it until now. Now I think it's the love of my life- well, for now. It's the best thing ever!! Has a simple drop-in bobbin, a needle threader, and most importantly, it's PINK!!!!
